POLICIES

Receipts are given to those whose private insurances cover a percentage of the costs or a specific amount related to the paramedical services of a dietitian or nutritionist, member of the Ordre Professionnel des Diététistes du Québec (OPDQ).  

The reimbursement conditions are specific to each company’s insurance policies. Sylvia Meo and Alimentavie are not responsible if a reimbursement is refused for a service that has already been supplied and/or received.  It is strongly recommended to communicate with your insurer in order to know exactly what is covered and how to proceed when submitting these expenses.  

All the confidential information concerning you that are collected through this website, via telephone or virtual exchanges with Sylvia or the Alimentavie team, will never be diffused, shared or revealed to a third party.

The information and the services offered on this website and through the Alimentavie tools do not constitute either directly or indirectly a diagnosis, medical opinion or consultation.  The results which you will obtain by applying the advice, suggestions and recommendations of Sylvia Meo and Alimentavie belong to you and are directly related and dependent of the information supplied by you, the customer. Sylvia Meo and Alimentavie can only guide you in your initiatives.

All the information found in this website and in the Alimentavie tools and documents is Sylvia Meo’s and Alimentavie’s property.  Any translation, reproduction and partial or total adaptation of texts, images, icons, logos and tools is strictly forbidden and puts you at risk of legal pursuits.

The sales of the services offered on this website are final.

When you subscribe to the 12 Alimentavie Weekly Group Meetings, you are responsible for making sure you attend all the meetings and when you miss a meeting you are responsible for organizing yourself with your dietitian to arrive half an hour prior to the start of the next meeting in order to review or discuss the Conference Notes handed out during the previous (missed) meeting.  The missed meeting(s) will not be reimbursed.

When you subscribe to 12 Alimentavie Parties or to the Alimentavie Program Coupled with Phone Follow-Ups or when you buy a Nutrition Services package for Individuals or Groups & Corporate and need to cancel your meeting, consultation or scheduled conference with your dietitian, it is your responsibility to advise us immediately by email or telephone at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled meeting and reschedule a new date.  Otherwise, the services will not be reimbursed.
